The Hayabusa EX123 is a six-hook sabiki rig dressed with white feathers and flash yarn. The feathers and shimmering strands move like small swimming baitfish, which draws strikes from aggressive fish whether you fish it with bait or without. It uses sharp nickel high-carbon steel hooks, with a monofilament main line for strength and fluorocarbon branch lines that are close to invisible underwater. It is a large-hook rig in three sizes, #14, #16 and #18, each paired with line strengths suited to that size, and it suits fish such as bonito, Spanish mackerel, king mackerel, snapper and stripers. Because the hooks are large, it is best fished on a conventional rod and reel rather than a light sabiki rod.
